Elders at Risk
The Ethos Elders At Risk program is a service for people 60 and over
whose own behaviors put them at risk. Risk includes types of
self-neglect that threaten an elder's own safety or that of others.
Signs of self-neglect can include hazardous living conditions,
unsanitary living quarters, untreated medical conditions, poor hygiene,
malnutrition, or dehydration. These risks may be associated with poor
judgment, social isolation, cultural, or language barriers, abuse of
alcohol or drugs, or physical limitations
